Bob first stepped on a stage at his Uncle Jimmy's Famous "Jimmy Byrne's Sea Girt Inn" When he was 5 years old. He has learned from the best! His Uncles, Jimmy Byrne, Bobby Byrne, & Mike Byrne taught him importance of entertainment...
Mike Byrne gave Bob one of his first paid acting gigs in his amazing " Irish Wake" as part of All Star Productions, where Bob played the Widow... 20 years later Bob and his Uncle Mike got to try it one more time...
It's not as good without the dress :) lol.
During the Pandemic, Bob found a way to pass a little joy and entertain for the staff of many Nursing Homes in the area.
By converting his car into a Mobile DJ wagon, he drove around and would park in the front, invite the staff outside, and just have some fun for 5 minutes... He called it the "Thank You Wagon"
Bob is very passionate about giving back. During the past 4 years he has been voted the Brick Chamber Member of the Year and received the Paul Harris Award in the Rotary. Bob has hosted and donated his time for the Annual Comedy Night which raises over 30K for scholarships in his home town of Brick NJ.
During his time as the Owner of Home Care Assistance Jersey Shore, he learned about Central Jersey Caregiver Volunteers, and with his partner AnneMarie, they were able to raise thousands of dollars and take home the trophy, in 2018 in the CVCJ Dancing with Their Stars Event.
If it can be done, he will find a way!
Teaming up with Jenny from Willow Springs Rehab in Brick, Bob used the Thank You Wagon for sound, and sang from a Cherry Picker outside the windows of the Second Floor residents and Patients.
